For the GS-12 level your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience responding to internal and external data calls and managing the recruiting budget for the Shipyard.

- You will act as Team Lead for shipyard-wide STEM Outreach initiatives and other volunteerism programs.
- You will plan and coordinate college recruiting trips and information sessions.
- You will initiate Defense Organizational Climate Survey (DEOCS) survey each year.
- You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing school and affiliated organization visits to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.
- You will coordinate educational opportunities to learn more about and increase appreciation on the importance of workplace volunteerism.
- You will advertise the survey through various means, collaborating with other departments to create and distribute materials.
