- You will operate instrumentation systems, including military radar unit systems and terminal/tower systems.
- You will be responsible for live action judgement and decision making, with high stress situations including managing multiple aircraft vehicles within very close proximity in airspace unexpectedly and simultaneously.
- You will interface with FAA, Air Force, and local airport officials to coordinate range testing airspace requirements and enhance flying safety.
- You will ensure that all controllers meet and maintain published requirements for currency on each applicable qualified operating position.
- You will formulate and relay clearances and advisory data to aircraft operating within assigned area of jurisdiction.
- You will maintain continual surveillance and operation of airport movement surfaces to ensure pedestrian, vehicle and aircraft compliance with operating rules.
