We are seeking an experienced Real-Time Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in C/C++ development for Linux-based real-time operating systems running on multi-core processors. This role involves hands-on development, integration, and optimization of embedded software solutions for mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop real-time embedded software using C/C++ and object-oriented principles.
- Work on Linux-based real-time operating systems for multi-core processors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software, firmware, and hardware components.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including Scrum or Kanban.
- Utilize GitLab and Bitbucket for version control and CI/CD workflows.
- Ensure compliance with DevSecOps practices, including automated testing and secure deployment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to obtain a U. S. Government security clearance. (REQUIRES US Citizenship)
- 5+ years of C/C++ embedded real-time object-oriented development experience on Linux multi-core systems.
- 5+ years of hands-on software/firmware/hardware development and integration.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Git-based workflows.
Desired Skills
- ACTIVE Secret Clearance
- Working knowledge of C++ design patterns for embedded development.
- Familiarity with Yocto OS.
- Experience with Data Distribution System (DDS) middleware.
- Knowledge of containerized development and deployment.
- Understanding of DevSecOps tools and processes (CI/CD, automated testing).
