Job Description

As a Security Officer - Aero Patrol Route in Wichita, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas at an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identifying potential concerns.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity, and promptly report observations to the appropriate personnel or authorities.
• Support access control measures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site procedures.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as directed by Allied Universal and site management.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and general information to promote a positive experience at the location.
• Follow all instructions provided by Allied Universal and site management to address changing needs or special assignments within the aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
