Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control Full-Time in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment at a leading aerospace and defense location. Your role includes monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and providing exceptional customer service while upholding our values of agility, reliability, and integrity. What You'll Do:

• Perform access control duties to help manage entry and exit of authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles at the location.
• Monitor and verify credentials of individuals seeking access to restricted areas, following established site-specific policies and procedures.
• Assist with security-related customer service, providing information and directions to employees, contractors, and/or visitors as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any observed irregularities.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual activity, and/or policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, assisting with evacuations and/or other procedures when necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
