Job Description
ECS is seeking a Performance Analyst to work in our Arlington, VA office.

ECS is seeking talented professionals to join our successful and growing team supporting the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) Joint Cyber Defense Collaborative (JCDC). The JCDC is CISA's flagship initiative for uniting government, industry, and international partners to proactively defend against cyber threats.

Our ECS team is at the center of providing support to JCDC's critical mission as they continue to plan, share, and respond to cyber threats in real time to support the greater cyber community.

The Performance Analyst w ill support the JCDC Production Office by producing actionable solutions to active real-world cyber threats by ensuring that the right people are receiving the right information at the right time. This position will provide understanding how products (including publications, official guidance, blog posts, and social media) perform to educate the public and private communities it serves from cyber threats and identify areas of opportunity to increase both efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions and drive mission outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive set of performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to measure program success and identify areas for improvement.
    • Work closely with federal and internal stakeholders to:
    • Ensure effective collection, analysis, and reporting of performance data
    • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to optimize performance and efficiency
  • Understand JCDC partner requirements, JCDC solutions, and capability implementation requirements to provide cyber threat mitigation strategies.
  • Engage directly with leaders across CISA's partners to share and collaborate on cyber capabilities, solutions, and findings.
  • Provide analysis on product adoption rates and usage across partner communities, identifying early indicators of success and work to remove any barriers to implementation.
  • Act as the overarching strategic thinker that can help align cyber threat solutions to vulnerabilities and risk that affect JCDC partner communities.
  • Engage with a team of specialists, including a Cyber Product Owner, Cyber Engagement Coordinator, and a Data Monitoring team.
  • Work cross-functionally across the other JCDC offices (including Federal & Commercial Partnerships and Active Incident Response Teams) to identify opportunities where our work can grow its impact
Required Skills
  • US citizenship with an ability to obtain and maintain, at a minimum, DHS Suitability (EOD) Public Trust with suitability for Top Secret (TS) Clearance
  • 5+ years of experience in performance analysis, data analysis, customer experience or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends and patterns.
  • Experience with data visualization and storytelling to present performance metrics and key insights
  • Experience with analytic tools such as Qualtrics
  • Ease in using (or adapting to) new communication channels and outreach strategies, including social media, webinars, and partner portals
  • Proven experience in reviewing and providing guidance on technical solutions
  • Strong background in stakeholder engagement and relationship management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical
Desired Skills
  • DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) clearance with suitability for Top Secret Clearance
  • Familiarity with the operations and mission of CISA, JCDC, or other federal cybersecurity organizations.
  • Experience in cybersecurity, specifically in analyzing cybersecurity solutions and providing guidance on their implementation to meet unique network threats
  • Experience working with performance management frameworks
  • Strong understanding of data visualization tool, such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Familiarity with the operations and mission of CISA, JCDC, or other federal cybersecurity organizations.
