Job Overview
The successful candidate will provide critical expediting support across AEVEX's Supply Chain organization to ensure timely delivery of materials, components, and services required for aerospace
production, R&D, and operational execution. This position plays a key role in maintaining production schedules by proactively monitoring supplier performance, resolving delivery issues, and ensuring
seamless coordination between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Essential Functions
• Track all active POs to ensure accurate status, delivery dates, and compliance with requirements. • Follow up frequently with suppliers to confirm order status, shipment details, and expected delivery dates.
• Identify risks such as late deliveries, shortages, or quality concerns; escalate issues appropriately and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with warehouse/receiving teams to verify inbound shipments, resolve discrepancies, and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain up-to-date records in ERP/MRP systems, including notes, documents, shipment details, and supplier communications.
• Interface with Production, Engineering, Planning, Quality, Program Management, and Procurement across all locations to align on priorities and communicate material status.
• Ensure all procurement, expediting, and documentation practices adhere to ITAR, DFARS, and company policies.
• Provide regular status updates on critical materials, delivery risks, and supplier performance metrics.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications and Competencies
• Strong understanding of supply chain workflows, procurement processes, and material movement
• communication and negotiation skills to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams
• Ability to identify and resolve delivery delays, shortages, and discrepancies under time-critical conditions
• Excellent organizational, record-keeping, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
• Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and other U.S. Government contracting requirements
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Education / Certifications
• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Experience
• 4+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, production control, expediting, or related function.
• Experience supporting aerospace production, R&D, or government program operations preferred.
• Experience monitoring supplier performance, identifying systemic issues, and recommending corrective actions preferred.
• Background in resolving receiving discrepancies and supporting audits related to procurement files or material traceability preferred.
