Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Naval Aviation Readiness Analyst to support the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) located onsite at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. This role is instrumental in enabling the NAE to sustain operational readiness across its aviation portfolio by supporting analytics, logistics, maintenance readiness and strategic planning efforts. The ideal candidate is a mission-focused analyst with deep knowledge of naval aviation readiness metrics, maintenance and operations, and continuous process improvement methodologies.
Responsibilities include:
The projected compensation range for this position is $75-80,000. There are numerous factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the role, work location, education/certifications, and a contract's Labor Categories.

- Develops analytic products and practices that create measurable improvement for processes and decision support across Naval Aviation.
- Provides the Enterprise with actionable and sustainable analytics products that enable data-supported decision aids, requirements and policy development.
- Identifies and establishes data handling best practices, submits policy and/or requirements recommendations as appropriate.
- Prioritizes gaps in analytical products to maximize readiness outcomes - achieving common goals.
- Endorses and governs Naval Aviation analytical metrics - creating standardization.
- Facilitates data literacy within Naval Aviation through intuitive products promoting best practices.
- Secret Security Clearance
- 3+ years of related experience
- 2+ years of experience with Python, R, SQL, statistical methods, visualization development (Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI), and/or PowerApps development
- Ability to perform data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining, and statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis.
- Knowledge of statistic and ability to assess correlation
- Proficient with one of the following: Tableau, Qlik, or PowerBI, and familiarity to produce basic charts with the others
- Ability to identify and establish data handling best practices and able to submit policy and/or requirements recommendations as appropriate
- Ability to conduct root-cause and correlative action analysis
- PowerApps development experience highly desired
- Active DOD Secret Clearance
- Bachelors degree in a related field; 6 additional years of experience may substitute degree
- Onsite, 40 hours per week
