Sr. Research Analyst

Seeking a Senior Operations Research Analyst to lead enterprise performance measurement, data validation, and recurring analytical reporting for SAF/SB. This position produces the monthly Senior Leader Performance Expectation (SLPE) report, validates acquisition and financial data from multiple authoritative systems, and performs enterprise-level trend analysis. The analyst must be able to explain complex data clearly to senior leaders and provide actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. This role also serves as the alternate Program Manager during PM absences.

Minimum Qualifications (per PWS):

Minimum of 10 years’ experience working with DoD acquisitions and headquarters staff-level work or equivalent.
At least seven of those ten years within the last ten years.
Experience performing data validation, trend analysis, and performance measurement.
Familiarity with Air Force analytical and financial systems such as:
CCaRS
SMART
PMRT
DEAMS
FPDS-NG
GAFS-BQ
Other authoritative AF/DoD data sources
Preferred Experience:

Experience supporting Air Staff, PEOs, MAJCOMs, or enterprise analytics teams.
Hands-on experience preparing recurring senior leadership reports or enterprise metrics.
Strong proficiency with advanced Excel, data modeling, and visualization tools.
