Drive Mission-Critical Cloud Infrastructure for National Defense
Prime Solutions Group (PSG) is seeking talented DevOps Engineers to support a major engineering powerhouse whose work directly enables some of the Department of Defense’s most critical missions. In this role, you will help build and sustain secure, scalable, and highly automated cloud and DevSecOps environments that power next-generation defense and digital engineering systems. Your contributions will directly strengthen U.S. national security—while giving you the opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud technologies, automation frameworks, and mission-essential platforms.

You will join a high-performing team where your expertise in automation, scripting, AWS, Kubernetes, and secure pipeline engineering will shape resilient solutions used by warfighters, analysts, and decision-makers across the DoD.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop robust automation and CI/CD pipelines using Python, Bash, Jenkins, and related tooling.
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure AWS and hybrid cloud environments supporting mission-critical systems.
- Manage and optimize containerized applications; deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters.
- Implement certificate management, vulnerability remediation, and security best practices across the SDLC.
- Administer Linux systems to ensure high performance, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud, infrastructure, and legacy environments.
- Produce clear and comprehensive documentation, including technical diagrams and runbooks.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, leadership, and customer stakeholders; mentor junior staff as needed.

Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship (required)
- Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, or cloud engineering
- Proficiency with Python, Bash, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins or similar)
- Strong Linux administration experience and solid networking fundamentals
- Experience with AWS services and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
- IAT Level II certification or willingness to obtain within one year

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Familiarity with certificate management, patching, and vulnerability remediation
- Experience working in hybrid cloud/on-premise architectures
- Background supporting automated testing, TDD, and code-review processes
- Ability to document design decisions, runbooks, and operational workflows
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or collaborating across cross-functional teams

Why This Role Matters
In this role, you’ll collaborate side-by-side with top engineers while serving as our technical force on a major customer program. You’ll be the bridge between PSG and a leading engineering powerhouse and help shape new mission opportunities and drive cloud modernization efforts that directly support DoD operations.

Your expertise in automation, cloud infrastructure, and DevSecOps will power systems critical to national defense. The solutions you build will enhance mission speed, strengthen security, and make a measurable impact on those who protect our nation.
