Overview
Join our team supporting mission-critical space programs as a Software Configuration Manager (SCM). In this role, you’ll ensure the integrity, traceability, and compliance of software products throughout their lifecycle. You’ll work closely with engineering, program management, and quality teams to implement robust configuration management practices that enable secure and reliable space systems.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute software configuration management (SCM) for complex space system programs.
• Manage code integration, containment, and delivery readiness across multiple software components.
• Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures tailored to space systems.
• Oversee branching, merging, and build processes to maintain integrity and compliance.
• Perform status accounting, audits, and verification of software baselines.
• Partner with engineering teams to ensure secure, compliant software releases for mission-critical applications.
Required Qualifications
• Active TS/SCI security clearance
• 5+ years of experience in Software Configuration Management
• Ability to work 100% onsite in a secure facility
Preferred Skills
• Hands-on experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, ClearCase)
• Familiarity with build automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Maven)
• Knowledge of Agile development environments and space system lifecycle
• Strong understanding of configuration management principles for complex systems
