Overview:
The ITility VP of Business Management is a senior executive responsible for optimizing business performance, managing key initiatives, and acting as a strategic advisor to top leadership. This dynamic, high-profile role involves ensuring that ITility’s operations align with its overall strategic objectives and financial goals. The ideal candidate has experience within the Government Contracting industry, preferably having worked their way up to an executive role. This position will report directly to the President and CEO of ITility. This position is hybrid with 2-3 days per week at ITility HQ located in Chantilly, VA.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee corporate operations including Finance, Contracts, People Operations (HR), Talent Acquisition, Security, and Quality.
• Strategic Planning and Execution: Developing and implementing new business strategies and initiatives and ensuring departments align with the company's long-term vision.
o Contribute to the development and execution of annual business plan.
o Work directly with CEO to align corporate operations with executive business plan.
o Streamline or implement structures and roles that boost speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly shifting business demands.
• Operational Oversight: Managing day-to-day operations across various departments to ensure efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
• Financial Management: Overseeing budgets, analyzing financial performance, identifying cost-reduction opportunities, and ensuring optimal capital utilization.
• Risk Management: Identifying, escalating, and mitigating business risks, including legal, regulatory, and capacity issues.
o Strong working knowledge of industry regulations and legal guidelines.
• Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders, clients, partners, and internal teams.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Leading and mentoring cross-functional teams, fostering a positive company culture, and ensuring employee development and accountability.
o Hire and retain top talent.
o Build and develop your teams.
• Decision Making: Making important decisions that directly impact the company and contribute to procedural and policy development. Implement operational processes improvements where necessary.
• Market Analysis: Staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to develop ideas for new products, services, and business models.
Skills & Abilities: A successful Vice President of Business Management possesses a blend of strategic, leadership, and operational skills.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• High financial acumen, including budgeting and forecasting expertise.
• Proven leadership and the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.

Required Qualifications:
• A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is a minimum requirement.
• Minimum of 15 years of management experience with at least 7 years of government contracting experience.
• Masterful organizational, communication, and leadership skills, backed by previous professional success.
• Excellent knowledge of government contracting financial processes.
• Experience in developing budgets and business plans.
• Experience overseeing human resources operations.
• Experience coordinating and managing ISO 9001 Audits
Preferred Qualifications:
• MBA or advanced degree
• Active Accounting or Financial certifications (i.e., CPA, CA, CMA, CPAC, FP&A, FRM, CIMA, or CGFM).
• Active Secret or Top-Secret Clearance
• Experience coordinating and managing ISO 27001 Audits
Physical Requirements:
• Work is typically performed in an office setting.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear, and see.
• Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds.
