Testing Lead

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently looking for a Testing Lead to support one of our federal partners on a 100% remote schedule. The Testing Lead will join a collaborative team modernizing Informed Visibility (IV) applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , ensuring real-time tracking and predictive analytics.

Responsibilities for the Testing Lead include:

• Own QA strategy and resource allocation across automation, functional, and CAT testers.
• Lead Chaos and High Availability (HA) testing to ensure system resilience.
• Drive test planning and execution in HP ALM, integrating automation where needed.
• Collaborate with Environment Management and SCRUM teams to assign test environments per release.
• Mentor USPS/vendor testers in agile sprints and report status to ELT and app leads.
• Validate backend data and APIs using SQL and Postman.
• Support automation frameworks using Selenium or UFT, integrated with Jenkins CI/CD.

Qualifications for the Testing Lead include:

• 5+ years of QA leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience creating test plans/scenarios in HP ALM.
• Strong experience building and maintaining automation frameworks with Selenium or UFT.
• Cloud testing experience in GCP (preferred) or Azure.
• Familiarity with agile/DevOps environments and tools like Version One.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to pass a background investigation .

Compensation for the Testing Lead include:

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 *depending on experience*
