The Senior Project Coordinator will the lead the Planning and Development team. In this role, the Project Coordinator will leverage soft skills and expertise to drive project execution, ensuring that initiatives align with strategic objectives while fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams. Additionally, Senior Project Coordinator will manage multiple projects simultaneously. This will be critical in delivering quality results on time and within budget while providing support for the customer's crisis, contingency, and exercise planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates combined, coalition, and joint network requirements into theater operational plans.
  • Possesses an understanding of required support activities to build, operate, sustain, maintain, extend, and implement C5ISRT capabilities across US Networks and Mission Partner Environments in crisis, contingency, and exercises.
  • Leads project planning sessions, defining project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Coordinates resources, including personnel and tools, to ensure effective project execution
  • Monitors and reports project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies to address potential issues
  • Facilitates communication, providing regular updates on project statuses and performance metrics (KPIs)
  • Utilizes project management software to maintain project documentation and track deliverables
  • Conducts post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement
  • Supports the development of project budgets and manage financial resources effectively
  • Manages cross-functional resources through effective communication, soft skills and proper stakeholder management.

Required Qualifications/Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline or 3-5 years' planning experience on a General Officer staff
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance with TS/SCI eligibility
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations

Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and leading complex projects
  • Familiarity with risk management principles and techniques
