You will be the Manufacturing Planner Associate Manager for the Production Planning and Control team. Our team is responsible for managing the daily production activities to meet customer requirements.

What You Will Be Doing

-Manages the daily activities of 5-15 direct report PP&C Planners. Responsible for employee performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions, and assists with recruitment, selection, and training of new employees.

-Maintains production systems integrity to drive inventory optimization to minimize cost. Expedites and optimizes material flow through the supply chain to meet customer requirements. Coordinates with Manufacturing and Operations Management to provide status on procured parts, analyzes and controls production schedule and capacity requirements, executes the plan, and expedites or develops workaround plans to preserve schedule.

-Coordinates with Supply Chain Stakeholders including Procurement and Operations Management to determine appropriate time phased plan for procured parts and executes processes to ensure deliverables meet production schedule requirements. Maintains MRP parameters including lead times and lot sizes to ensure economic order quantity policies are being met.

Basic Qualifications:
Experience in Production Operations

Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)

Previous PP&C experience

Previous leadership experience

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access.

Appropriate degree from an accredited college, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment

This facility requires special access and therefore all candidates must be a US Citizen
Desired Skills:
Advanced understanding of LM policies, processes and systems

SAP experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
