What You'll Do:
- Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials of personnel, visitors, and vehicles according to site-specific protocols.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees, contractors, and/or visitors with access-related inquiries and directions.
- Carry out security-related procedures in alignment with site-specific policies, including those relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
- Document and report any irregularities, security-related breaches, or unusual circumstances to the appropriate Allied Universal and/or client representatives.
- Support emergency response activities as directed by site procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.
- Maintain a professional presence while interacting with all individuals at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Lifting up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
