Job Description

Nexagen Networks is seeking a skilled SQL Database Administrator who can conduct research into fundamental computer and information science as theorists, designers, or inventors. Develop solutions to problems in the field of computer hardware and software. Project-specific: Responsible for all activities relating to information assurance procedures and systems. Develops information systems assurance programs and control guidelines. Confers with and advises subordinates on administrative policies and procedures and resolves technical problems, priorities, and methods. Consults with and advises other sections regarding internal controls and security procedures. Prepares activity and progress reports relating to the information systems audit function.

Position Responsibilities
  • Lead cybersecurity operations, managing teams responsible for COMSEC, physical security, information assurance, and RMF compliance across classified and unclassified systems.
  • Oversee the full Risk Management Framework (RMF) lifecycle, including categorization, control implementation, assessment, authorization, and continuous monitoring.
  • Maintain cybersecurity posture through vulnerability management, patching, incident response, and compliance with DoD Cyber and NIST standards.
  • Enforce COMSEC and physical security protocols in alignment with DoD and Army regulations.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with DoD Instructions, Army Regulations, and NIST guidance governing cybersecurity and classified systems.
  • Coordinate with Authorizing Officials, Information System Owners, and stakeholders to achieve timely system accreditation and reauthorization.
  • Develop and maintain required security documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, SARs, accreditation artifacts).
  • Conduct internal and external security audits and inspections to validate compliance with DoD and Army standards.
  • Advise program leadership on cybersecurity strategy, risk posture, and compliance status; represent the program in audits and security-related meetings.
  • Ensure configuration management (CM) for security-relevant software, hardware, firmware, and documentation.
  • Develop and retain a skilled cybersecurity workforce to ensure mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Master's degree with 10+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience.

• CompTIA Security+ and CISSP certification is required.

• Active Secret Clearance preferred.
