As a USAREUR-AF OSINT Analyst - Linguist you will support US Army Europe/Africa G2 and other Intelligence related mission partners, as a key team member of a complex program that provides professional services in support of advisory and analysis efforts associated with Intelligence Warfighting Function (IWF)mission areas. You will be a member of a team that supports the Intelligence Directorate of the Army Component Command of both the US European Command and US Africa Command.

As a USAREUR-AF OSINT Analyst - Linguist you will embed at Wiesbaden, Federal Republic of Germany and may travel within both theaters as required, to perform services at locations within the USEUCOM or USAFRICOM AOR or Area of Interest (AOI) to meet mission requirements in both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
These positions are contingent upon SOFA approval or commensurate work-Visa requirements at the primary place of duty. Employee must be willing to work shifts, overtime, and/or deploy to austere or hostile fire zones as required.

Job Description

Other duties for the OSINT Analyst Linguist will include but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership and mentoring to junior analysts.
- Provide support with expertise in Russian, Polish, Arabic, French and Bosnian/Serbo-Croatian or Albanian languages.
- Conduct daily research and analysis of publicly available information to develop intelligence special studies, briefings, official memorandums, and link charts specifically for the USAREUR-AF G2X.
- Gather publicly available information from various sources and types of media to produce open-source intelligence that addresses priority intelligence requirements related to counterintelligence or terrorism issues.
- Analyze news articles and social media sites collected from multiple sources, taking into account the unique biases of each source.
- Collect and compile data for reports based on the general and specific collection plans outlined by the G2X.
- Create and maintain OSINT-specific products, including translating and editing publicly available information for use in OSINT reports.
- Identify trends to support Information Operations and other USAREUR-AF staff sections in conducting assessments, POI analysis, and other functions.
- Apply knowledge of the history, local customs, and current events in the area of interest (i.e., Balkans) to inform POI, assessment, and trend analysis processes.
- Monitor local/regional print media sources, radio, television, and satellite transmissions, and provide assessments of intelligence impacts.
- Conduct internet searches focusing on geographically and topically relevant information for inclusion in OSINT reports and products.
- Demonstrate the ability to read, comprehend, and accurately interpret a specified USAREUR-AF G2X mission-relevant foreign language at a professional level, as indicated by a proficiency rating of 3/3 on the Defense Language Proficiency Test (DLPT).
- Develop and execute an individual Publicly Available Information (PAI) collection plan, adhering to standard U.S. intelligence community operational security measures, utilizing effective online search strategies that maintain source attribution, managing identity data, and employing expertise in website- specific social media search and extraction techniques.
- Prepare accurate written and oral reports in a timely manner, utilizing information obtained from PAI, while demonstrating the ability to identify credible and corroborated PAI sources.
- Generate specialized analytical products, including technical reports, briefings, and running estimates, utilizing both managed attribution and OSINT tools provided.
- Share information and analysis with U.S. and foreign partners as directed by the government or contract lead.
- Assist all-source analysts in collecting and integrating PAI with classified information and analysis.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- A master's degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of related experience supporting intelligence analysis/operations; OR a bachelor's degree, eleven (11) years of related experience supporting intelligence analysis/operations; OR an associate degree, minimum of fourteen (14) years of related experience supporting intelligence analysis and operations; OR a High School Diploma or equivalent, minimum of twenty (20) years of related experience supporting intelligence analysis/operations.
- Possess or complete U.S. Intelligence Community Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) training certification and tool training.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience and knowledge of the principles, methods, processes, and applicable regulations involved in intelligence analysis.
- Minimum Security Clearance - TS/SCI, eligible for Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in one or several of the following languages: Russian, Polish, Arabic, French and Bosnian/Serbo-Croatian or Albanian languages.
- Excellent Verbal and Written communications skills.
- Recent thorough experience performing OSINT / PAI Analysis in the EUCOM and/or AFRICOM theaters.

- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- 24/7 watch rotation to the Command Joint Operations Center during routine and crisis operations requiring surge support
