As the Head of Fellows, you will sit at the intersection of Innovation, Operations, and Growth guiding enterprise technical strategy, advancing our digital and AI capabilities, and shaping how we deliver mission outcomes for our customers. You will also lead our community of fellows as they redefine what's possible for the mission, elevate MetroStar's technical brand, and cultivate the next generation of technical leadership across our company.

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

What You'll Do
- Provide leadership and cross-team integration across MetroStar's fellows
- Build cross-domain integration across business units to address enterprise-wide mission challenges.
- Provide oversight into and help Fellows ensure they are focused on strategic delivery, growth, and innovation objectives.
- Guide the development of white papers, technical narratives, and mission concepts that shape proposals and solutions.
- Partner with our Innovation Labs to connect accelerators and AI solutions with real-world mission needs.
- Represent MetroStar externally through thought leadership, panels, and briefings.
- Mentor senior technical leaders and scale the Fellows community as MetroStar grows into new domains.
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance
- Location: Must be able to commute regularly to Reston, VA.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of progressive technical leadership experience within Defense, National Security, or Federal missions.
- Enterprise Leadership: Proven track record of shaping and executing enterprise-wide technical strategy and delivering measurable mission outcomes.
- Strategic Vision: Demonstrated ability to align innovation, operations, and growth priorities through technical insight and business acumen.
- Cross-Domain Integration: Experience leading multi-domain or cross-functional technical initiatives across multiple business units or mission areas.
- Governance and Alignment: Expertise in establishing technical governance models, resource alignment, and investment prioritization to support mission and growth strategies.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of AI, cloud modernization, digital transformation, and data-driven engineering and ability to architect and evaluate advanced technical solutions in complex mission environments.
- Customer Engagement: Recognized as a trusted technical advisor to senior government customers (DoD, Air Force, Space Force, Marine Corps, Intelligence Community, or similar).
- Thought Leadership: Demonstrated success in representing an organization publicly through panels, conferences, white papers, or published work.
- Mentorship: Experience mentoring senior technical professionals and developing communities of practice or technical fellowship programs

- The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
