The Aeronautics Sector's Global Surveillance Division has an opening for a Material Cost Manager 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This leadership position will be located in either Melbourne, FL or Oklahoma City, OK.
The position leads a Material Cost Management team responsible for all material-related financial reporting, planning and forecasting, cash management, cost and schedule performance management, risk & opportunity management, Earned Value Management and all strategic and indirect management associated with the Strike program. Additional key duties will include the hiring, training, and development of staff. The candidate will work across functions to ensure the success of program priorities. The candidate will provide leadership and day to day direction to a hardline department of Program Material Cost Analysts.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university and 7+ years combined experience in any of the following: Supply Chain, Business Management, Finance, Accounting, Procurement or a related field OR Master's Degree and 5+ years of relatable experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) to include Material Integration, Cost Schedule Integration, Integrated Performance Management and Financial reporting requirements.
• 2 years of leadership experience either leading projects or teams.
• Active DoD Secret Secret Clearance with full investigation in the last 5 years.

Primary Level Salary Range: $119,900.00 - $189,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls material and material-related costs on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
- Performs analyses and prepares reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
- Prepares budgets for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis.
- Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government.
- Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines.
