Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a Summer 2026 Intern Multi-function System Administrator. In this role, you will:
• Interacting daily with users and ALIS/LM leadership
• System/database/software/firewall/account maintenance and monitoring
• Reviewing processes/procedures, collect system operational data for analysis
• Laptop re-image, troubleshooting, account maintenance
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of account maintenance with Active Directory / Oracle / CRM, expectance trouble shooting applications, and applying updates, anti-virus, and system patch management. Must be a US Citizen.; This position will require a government security clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to obtain INTERIM Secret clearance (through Lockheed) before starting employment
• IT experience of any combination in system/database/network administration
• Knowledge of any of the following: Windows; structured query language ; Cisco products
• Pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, or related field with a graduation date 2026 and 2027
Desired Skills:
• DoD IAT Level II certification (Security+, CySA+, or CCNA)
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux System Administrator
• Importing/Exporting large data volumes
• Virtual Machine Management Service (Hyper-V / VMware)
• Slunk application experience to include queries and reports.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
