Summary:
SYSTOLIC is seeking a developer to develop ranking algorithms and models, design and implement indexing and retrieval systems. Build front-end single page applications with Vue, Javascript, HTML/CSS and responsive design. Implement back-end microservices using REST and Node.js. Utilize Maven, Gradle, and Git for Java/J2EE products. Manage DevOps platforms with AWS. Develop in Ruby/Ruby on Rails. Implement CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes. Work with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL, and Hibernate.
Qualifications & Compensation:
* Experience in developing and refining ranking algorithms and models, designing and implementing indexing and retrieval systems, and collaborating with the data scientist and NLP engineer.
* Experience with primary languages of Vue, Node.js, Javascript.
* Front End Skills: Single Page Applications (Vue, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML), Responsive Design
* Back End Skills: Microservices, REST, Node.js, Nest.js
- Build Tools: maven, gradle, git, tactical and strategic improvements to large scale Java/J2EE/ products.
* Documented Experience with DevOps/Platforms: Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation, etc.).
* Demonstrated experience with developing in Ruby/Ruby on Rails;
- CI/CD: Jenkins, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes.
* Excellent knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle), SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate).
