Position Responsibilities:
- Reconcile accounts; analyze expenditures, trends, and billing, including 1/12th analysis, SWA, Spend Plans.
- Contract & Invoice Management: Review multi-million-dollar invoices; verify funding; create FFMS receiving tickets; support CORs with corrections; assist with contract closeouts.
- Budget Execution & Reporting: Support monthly/quarterly/annual submissions; track appropriations; analyze revenue across funding sources; prepare statistical and financial reports using Excel, Access, pivot tables.
- SWA & Reimbursable Transactions: Initiate, monitor, reconcile, and close SWAs; process accounts receivable; validate prior-year SWA funding; support audit documentation.
- Procurement & Cost Estimation: Assist in PSO service requests; verify cost estimates; consolidate funding requests; support Acquisition Review Board packages.
- Data Management & Automation: Maintain databases and spreadsheets; retrieve and analyze financial data; update manuals and directives; support office automation and troubleshooting.
- Travel & Post Management: Process Concur travel documents; modify per CO/COR service requests.
- Administrative & Technical Support: Draft reports, graphs, and statistical products; maintain records per file plans; assist with special projects and client account resolution.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Four years of experience in federal financial policy, procedures, regulations, and guidelines applicable to financial management programs and processes.
- Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts that includes 24 hours of coursework in finance, quantitative methods, or accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe
- Experience preparing technical presentations, communicating across management levels, support documentation for audits, reprogramming, and reclassification actions.
