As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. This role requires both armed and driving responsibilities as you protect critical assets and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide outstanding customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action as required.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible security-related presence.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.
• Document and report incidents, observations, and any unusual activity according to company and client protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services when necessary, following established procedures.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with employees, visitors, and contractors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
• An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification is required for positions in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
