What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and by responding appropriately to emergency situations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the location, including both the business interior and its perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
- Carry and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms and/or other security-related equipment as required for the armed post.
- Support access control measures by verifying credentials and/or monitoring entry and exit points as needed.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site personnel to address security-related concerns and support daily operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
