The requirements listed define the Minotaur Test Engineer Level 1responsibilities and tasking. The Test Engineer (TE) is a qualified individual that is able to analyze detailed system designs and functional requirements for Minotaur Mission Systems (MMS). The TE shall use software engineering principles and information technology practices to plan, create, improve, maintain and test the core software systems and sensor software baselines. The TE shall support the Chief Integration Officer (CIO) and other team members to accomplish development activities and execute the MMS development and deployment plans. The TE shall be able to receive guidance from mid-level/senior software developers and engineers while supporting senior leadership with mission execution.
The TE shall be qualified to execute the functions below with minimal guidance.
Job Requirements
Requirement of BS in Computer Engineering/Science, Electrical Engineering, Cyber Security or other suitable equivalent in education or have applicable skills with at least 4 years' experience in a technical field related to aviation, surface or ground based electrical, computer, or mission systems.
Proven performance of work, development, internship with communication and teaming skills.

The TE shall be qualified to execute the functions below with minimal guidance.
- TE1: Analyze software & hardware architecture, designs and functional requirements for aircraft, marine & surface mission systems.
- TE2: Develop system requirements.
- TE3: Test and configure mission system electrical designs and software applications using tools such as Microsoft Visio, .dwg applications, Linux, JAVA, Javascript, Python, SQL, OWL, CSS, C++, C#, Bootstrap, XML, HTML & WSTEL.
- TE4: Develop scripts for mission system applications.
- TE5: Review and document logistics configuration management of hardware and software to include installation and as built.
- STE6: Support installation, configuration, and test of mission systems and software on a variety of mission system hardware configurations in a lab environment and on asset.
- TE7: Install, configure, run and apply various software applications for mission systems and sensor suites.
- TE8: Develop and conduct unit, auto-test, system functional tests, integration tests and lab/asset testing.
- TE9: Develop technical documentation and reports (MS word, PPT, excel) related to MMS.
- STE10: Work with team members to ensure system usability, reliability, maintainability and resolve customer trouble reports.
- TE11: Build systems, manage data, update maps and satellite drives.
- TE12: Conduct System Administration functions such as password set up, scans, create log in access, troubleshoot networks and manage accounts.
- TE13: Execute frequent travel to meet Government requirements.
- TE14: Obtain and Maintain at least a Top Secret clearance.
- TE15: Be able to accept guidance from Senior Developers, Engineers and Mentors.
- TE16: Conduct reviews and accept feedback from team members, leadership & Government users.
- TE17: Build visions, business relationships & goals for future endeavors.
