Amentum provides field, range, testing, chemical, and biological laboratory support to the U.S. Army at the West Desert Test Center (WDTC) located at Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), UT. As a major test site for the U.S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, the WDTC is responsible for the test and evaluation of chemical and biological (CB) defense systems, incendiary and smoke/obscuration munitions systems, and related operational concepts. In addition to these responsibilities, we also support non-CB testing at the WDTC for the DOD and other Federal agencies, including environmental assessment/impact evaluation and munitions demilitarization.
Our Dugway Operation was established in 2004 with the award of the Field, Range, Chamber, and Laboratory Support Services (FRC&LSS) contract to Amentum. Through the FRC&LSS contract, we have integrated with Mellor Engineering, TOPE, and JRAD with a composite staff size of more than 170 personnel.
Your Opportunity:
Amentum is looking for a candidate to join our team as a Supply Technician. As a Supply Technician at Amentum, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and conducting comprehensive inventories of accountable property. You will play a crucial role in managing the receipt, storage, and issuance of equipment, materials, supplies, and tools. Your duties will encompass a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth operation of supply chain processes while maintaining compliance with established procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update hand receipts in the system, ensuring all items are accurately accounted for and up to date. - Conduct daily inventory checks on hand receipts, verifying item status and ensuring there are no delinquent or unassigned items. - Collaborate closely with government property book officers to manage incoming items, out-processing, and turn-ins. - Process and manage all turn-in paperwork, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
- Have at least three years' experience in maintaining records, conducting inventories of accountable property, including specialized training in computerized inventory systems.
- Experience in the receipt/storage/issue of equipment, materials, supplies, and tools.
- Must be able to accurately prepare the required forms necessary to meet customer needs. Experience in requisition processes and requisition documentation.
- Must be able to lift/carry at least 50 lbs.

Required Clearance : Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

Medium- Exerts up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 20 lbs. of force frequently, or up to 10 lbs. of force constantly to move objects.
Work Environment
- The work environment is primarily indoors, but tasks may also require outdoor work.
- An indoor setting could include a cubicle, which may present considerations such as close quarters, low to moderate noise levels, and varying lighting (bright or dim).
- Outdoor work may involve dealing with a range of environmental conditions, including hot and cold climates. It is important to work effectively with coworkers and all levels of management.
- The job does not involve any hazards or unusual environmental conditions. The office is located on-site at Dugway Proving Ground, UT, which is a government facility.
Attendance
- Regular hours will be between Monday and Thursday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines
- Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

- Demonstrate professional behavior with customers, management, and co-workers.
- Possess clear and accurate communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Maintain appropriate grooming and dress that does not pose safety risks.
