Qualifications
- The Lieutenant will assist the Captain by performing supervision of the shift workforce; oversee and manage the security-related functions and responsibilities of the work-shift; supervise teams of armed guards and will ensure all contract requirements are adhered to .
Responsibilities
- Provide the immediate, day-to-day, leadership, supervision and management of the subordinate personnel in the conduct and performance of security related functions and responsibilities.
- Will carry out general and special orders for post assigned; conduct roving patrols prevent installation breaches and other OPSEC or security-related tasks
- Will communicate via radio, telephone and orally according to orders
- Will provide access control, traffic control and conduct walking and motorized armed security functions
- Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform and equipment assigned.
- Will follow and enforce all applicable standard operating procedures, government regulations and directives pertaining to security of weapons, buildings, personnel, government property and equipment
- Will conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspection
- Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays.
- Will be responsible for subordinate performance evaluations and sustainment of subordinate training / certification proficiencies .
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
- Speak, read, comprehend , and compose coherent verbal and written reports in English.
- Have an approved Social Security Card issued by the Social Security Administration.
- Shall not be in violation of the Lautenberg Amendment at 18 U.S.C. 922
- Active TS clearance.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a valid NC driver's license and able to operate a SUV style vehicle.
- Minimum of one year of supervisory experience preferably with a civilian police force, military police force, or civilian security guard organization.
- Possess a current CPR certification through the American Red Cross.
- Successfully be able to meet physical agility standards as set forth by US Army.
