Responsibilities for the IT Vendor Negotiations Manager:
- Lead client-side contract negotiations to achieve cost savings and secure optimal terms.
- Analyze vendor proposals, contracts, and pricing models to identify opportunities for cost reduction and value creation.
- Develop and implement negotiation strategies tailored to client needs and organizational objectives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Establish strong relationships with vendors and clients to foster trust and long-term partnerships.
- Monitor and evaluate contract performance, ensuring compliance and identifying opportunities for renegotiation or improvement.
- Provide insights and training to internal teams on negotiation best practices and cost-saving strategies.
Qualifications for the IT Vendor Negotiations Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree a plus).
- 7+ years of experience in contract/vendor negotiations, or cost management, with a focus on client-side operations.
- Strong understanding of financial analysis and negotiation techniques.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of achieving significant cost savings and favorable contract terms.
Compensation for the IT Vendor Negotiations Manager:
- $110,000 to $130,000 *Depending on Experience
- Cigna Medical, dental, vision, Holidays, 401k, PTO and Sick leave as required by law
