PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support our Huntsville, AL location.
Duties:
- Engineering support to the KSA Chief System Engineer
- Monitor the development of s/w and h/w products produced by the Lockheed Martin Prime Contractor
- Participate in technical interchange meetings both internal and external to the THAAD Project Office
- Provide engineering expertise/support during Failure Review Boards (primarily hardware failures)
- Support Test Readiness Reviews and Software Test Events
- Develop and present Technical Briefings to program leadership or customer
- US and foreign travel may be requested but not required, willingness to travel a plus
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience :
- 12 years of experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- An active DoD Secret clearance is required to perform this work. Candidates are required to have an active Secret clearance upon hire, and the ability to maintain this level of clearance during their employment.
Education Requirements :
- Master's Degree
Desired Skills :
- Prior experience working missile defense programs (THAAD, Patriot PAC-2, Patriot PAC-3, C2BMC)
- Analysis of defense designs defending assets from foreign missile sytems
- Experience on a Foreign Military Sales Program
- Experience in Program Protection for Critical Program Information (embedded software or hardware techniques)
- Has developed and presented Technical Briefings to program leadership or customer
- Demonstrated experience working with a small team
- Authored or Reviewed proposals
