Program Analyst Journeyman

OVERVIEW
Job Title: Journeyman Program Analyst
Location: APG, MD (Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland)
Security Clearance: DoD Secret
Salary: Commensurate with Education/Experience
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Journeyman Program Analyst will perform functional duties independently and is responsible for applying expert knowledge of program planning and evaluation to meet organizational missions, goals, and objectives. Responsibilities include:
* Financial and Resource Management: Support a wide range of planning, evaluation, review, and prioritization of technical and financial resource activities associated with assigned programs.
* Cost Analysis & Forecasting: Support Government cost analysis, forecasting, and planning, including support of the Program Objective Memorandum (POM) / Budget Estimate Submission (BES), and other cost functions for assigned programs.
* Program Support: Provide support for program, planning, evaluation, and financial management functions across the program life cycle.
* Coordination & Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with Program Managers, PEO staff, DA staff, other services, and industry personnel during all phases of the life cycle of assigned projects.
* Financial Systems Operations: Work with the requiring activity to support the Program Objective Estimate (POE) development, and work with SOMARDS and GFEBS to process financial transactions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution.
Preferred Fields: Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Financial/Accounting.
Experience: 3 to 10 years of financial experience working within the DOD environment.
Substitution: 5 additional years of experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. OR 1 academic year at a technical school in an accredited business-related program can substitute for 1 year of experience.
