Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

- You will be responsible to supervise/oversee all aspects of the planning, managing, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating training, education, and outreach for integrated prevention programs.
- You will interview candidates for positions; recommends appointment, promotion or reassignment.
- You will identify employees developmental and training needs, provides or arranges for needed development and training.
- You will establish prevention activities and leads or supports program evaluation and performance assessment activities
- You will oversee, review, and direct prevention actions and projects across programs, and ensures completion dates are met within established timeframes.

- Experience in applying social science principles to evaluate, consult on, and advise in the implementation of integrated prevention programs across various settings including prevention of destructive/problematic behaviors, including suicide, sexual harassment/assault, substance misuse, and family/interpersonal/workplace violence.
- Experience in developing, implementing, and evaluating prevention programs and practices.
- Experience identifying, implementing, and evaluating effective prevention methodologies.
- Experience effectively communicating both orally and in writing with all levels of management, staff, and military personnel.
