Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable secure network solutions.
- Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational IT needs.
- Maintain compliance with security protocols and client standards.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Network Engineering or related discipline, plus 4-6 years of directly related experience or a Master's degree, plus 2-4 years of directly related experience, or a PhD and 0-2 years of directly related experience.
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering or related field preferred.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HAIPE (High Assurance Internet Protocol Encryptor).
- VMWare NSX-T and firewalls.
- DISA CCSD/Circuits
- COMSEC (Communications Security) experience.
- LISP, BGP and OSPF
- SD-WAN
- Hyperconverged and cloud infrastructure
- CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) certification.
- Security+ certification
