UI/UX Web Developer

Evolver is seeking a UI/UX Web Developer to support the work and projects of our client in Washington D.C. MUST be able to pass a USCP Background Check.

The role's primary function will be to advocate for great user experience while designing, presenting and coding the front end of applications. You will work with the backend software development teams to design, create, and support software applications written in .NET, ColdFusion, and Java, using mockup and prototyping tools as well as responsive front-end coding with HTML, GIT, CSS and Bootstrap. Experience with AzureDevOps, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, SharePoint modern and the reliability to perform other functions are also required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work with subject-matter experts, analyze existing solutions, databases and reports, and make or suggest improvements.

• Experience working in an agile environment with SCRUM or Kanban (Preferred).
• Ability to work with back-end developers using GIT.
• Experience designing wireframes or clickable prototypes using Adobe XD (or similar tool).
• Mastery of Bootstrap and mobile design.
• Support existing web applications, fix bugs, and enhance UI/UX.
• Create and archive design assets such as style guides.
• Work with Azure DevOps, Git, Visual Studio.
• Perform Photoshop batch processing for file support.
• Create Adobe Acrobat PDF forms.

Basic Qualifications

• 8 years of experience with a Master's Degree or 10 years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree.
• 10 years of experience with layout, color theory, and design experience for print and web.
• 7 years of experience with front-end development experience with CSS and XHTML, preferably HTML5/CSS3.
• 5 years of experience with Coding with 508 compliance.
• 5 years of experience with Mastery of InDesign, Acrobat PDF form creation, and SharePoint Modern.
• 5 years of experience with Photoshop batch processing for file support.
• 5 years of experience Creating and archiving design assets such as style guides.
• 5 years of experience debugging web page layouts using browser developer tools.
• 5 years of experience developing responsive cross-browser solutions.
• 5 years of experience developing in Visual Studio with Azure DevOps.
• 3 years of experience using the principles of GIT.
• 3 years of experience creating attractive, highly user-friendly, reactive user interfaces using Bootstrap 5 and/or Material UI (Preferred).
• 3 years of experience using Node Package Manager (NPM).
• 3 years of experience analyzing application requirements.
• 3 years of experience with Web Accessibility and creating Government compliant work.
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to pass a comprehensive background check

• Understanding of LESS or SASS
