Evolver is seeking Security Engineer to join our team supporting a government customer in Washington DC.
Responsibilities:
The Operation and Engineering Team supports a portfolio of IT solutions including custom developed systems, cybersecurity solutions, network and data center infrastructure, and off-the shelf applications that support our government customer. In this role you will be responsible for evaluating technology solutions supporting business requirements specific to a complex infrastructure environment, supporting security requirements and policies within the hardware/software configuration requirements, and actively remediating security threats and risks involving client infrastructure. This includes timely review of alerts generated by security devices, assessment of the situation. You will have the opportunity to work across a wide breadth of technologies including Windows servers, virtualization, storage, and network.

Basic Qualifications:
- 3 years of Information Technology experience with Bachelor's Degree or 6 years of equivalent work experience
- Experience developing, mentoring, and growing a system engineering team
- 2 years of experience with Active Directory and related services including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and DFS
- 2 years of experience with User and Computer Account Management
- 2 years of experience with deploying and administering Windows Server 2019/2022 operating systems
- 2 years of experience with Software deployment and installation using SCCM
- 2 years of experience with monitoring servers and service availability using SCOM
- 2 years of experience with Windows 11 deployment and support
- 2 years of experience with Cloud platforms such as M365, Azure, AWS
- 2 years of experience with Microsoft and Third-Party patch management
- 2 years of experience with security concepts, vulnerability remediations, and risk mitigation strategies
- 2 years of experience with Nessus Tenable scanner
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to pass a comprehensive background check
