We are seeking an Embedded Software / Firmware Architect to join our team in Broomfield to perform the following:
•Develop embedded SW/FW architecture for SDR unit controls, status reporting and BIT, signal processing FW integration, and error/fault handling, including block diagram design and requirements derivation
•Review existing prototype implementation and develop path forward to mature and stable production implementation, including task breakdown and scheduling
•Understand communication protocols including Ethernet/UDP, Ethernet/TCP, I2C, SPI, UART, COBS; understand development software and environments including Vivado, Xilinx Vitis, Kubernetes, Petalinux
•Assist SW and FW engineers in development and integration of embedded SW/FW components
•Develop test plan for SDR unit SW/FW
•Assist SW QA in embedded SW/FW review
Requirements:
*Active secret, TS or TS/SCI
*8+ years of relevant experience
*Ability to go into the Broomfield office 50% of the time
*Local candidates only, please. No relocation provided.*
