We are seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer & Radar SME to develop radar signal processing chains from customer requirements, identify required processing blocks and select compliant and appropriate algorithms, develop algorithm models in MATLAB or Python, assist SW engineering in processing block implementation, verification and unit testing, and integration and assist test engineering in system integration and testing.
In this role, you will:
•Develop end-to-end radar performance model, including radar signal processing chains with I/Q level simulation, RF front-end hardware effects, and target and environmental effects
•Develop operational scenarios from customer requirements and engineering judgment for system assessment and performance prediction
•Assist SW engineering in implementation of simulation functions into non-real-time integration and development environments
•Assist FW engineering in development of low-fidelity simulation functions into real-time integration and development environments
•Review and feedback of radar system hardware design, especially for instances of hardware design dependencies or coupled effects
•Generate radar performance analyses from customer and derived requirements
•Oversee incorporation of radar feature verification into test planning for ground radar system with multiple operating modes
•Assist in integration of radar features into system buildup
•Assist in processing of radar measurements and test results for system verification and anomaly investigation
Requirements:
*Active secret, TS or TS/SCI
*8+ years of relevant experience
*Ability to go into the Broomfield office 50% of the time
