Primary Level Salary Range: $133,100.00 - $199,700.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Our Commerce, CA location is seeking a Product Value Stream Leader - Manager Manufacturing Operations 2 to join our 2nd shift (2:30 pm -11:30 pm) team. The Product Value Stream Leader is responsible for complete execution through delivery primarily to internal and external customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Accountability for meeting or exceeding the Safety, Quality, Delivery, Employee and Cost expectations of internal and external customers across assigned programs. Support and drive continuous improvements to support year-over-year SQDEC goals.
- Collaboration and coordination with Operations, Engineering, and Business Support Functions to achieve product and site business goals
- Talent development through the performance management process, including individual and team goal setting, coaching and personnel development, and maintain department training requirements and deploy resources according to skill sets
- Ensure that equipment and machinery are maintained in accordance with preventative maintenance schedules for assigned areas
- Provide inputs into customer proposals by providing basis of estimates for labor, risks, and schedule durations.
- Design and execution of staffing strategies to meet/balance customer needs and business objectives.

- Own, execute and continuously improve Daily Management (Gemba, Obeya, Stand-Ups, etc.) within assigned Product Value Stream(s)
- Ensure financial operating integrity by supporting financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Ownership and accountability for effective hand-offs through all functional and process center areas
- Maintain awareness and involvement in contract milestones that directly relate to billings
- Support customer proposals by providing basis of estimates for labor and schedule duration

- Communicate/escalate key issues related to safety/security, quality, delivery, employee, cost etc. upward to site leadership and downward into the organization
Talent Management
- Proactively strengthen the Product Value Stream team through the performance management process (individual and group goal setting, coaching and personnel development). Provide inputs to performance of Process Center and Functional Leaders.
- Establish and maintain training requirements and deploy resources accordingly.
- Ensure succession plans are in place and be proactive in mentoring key talent to assume increased responsibilities.
Compliance
- Advocate a safe, secure and ethical working environment that maintains compliance with federal, state and local government regulations.
- Utilize and improve Northrop Grumman Corporation Quality Management System to achieve compliance and maintain certifications for AS9100 and NADCAP.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required and 8 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment or Master's Degree in Engineering required and 6 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment. Aerospace experience is a must.
- Leadership experience, demonstrating an ability to lead, build and manage effective cross-functional teams in an aerospace manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience to develop and execute process standards focused on product area value streams and risk management identification and mitigation
- Ability to solve problems and drive continuous improvements
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to work flexible schedule, which may include evenings and/or weekends
- Ability to obtain security clearance
