Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Program Manager (Level M) to lead and grow an Air Dominance (AD) proprietary program based in Mesa, AZ.
This position will report to the Proprietary Air Dominance Program Manager and will lead a multi-disciplinary, multi-site team of specialists from Air Dominance. This Senior Program Manager will be responsible for overall program management for a large proprietary program's statement work at the Advanced Composite Fabrication Center (ACFC). A successful candidate will have familiarity with Boeing's Program Management Best Practices, advanced composite fabrication, and advanced tactical aircraft technology.
This position will lead teams of mid-level managers and employees in multiple locations across the United States.
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Position Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct and ensure technical excellence of all work associated with the Advanced Composite Fabrication Center
- Leadership of a team; ensuring robust objective setting and career development planning as well as performance management discussions as applicable
- Manage the program to remain contract compliant with leading integrated product teams (IPT) including Production Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing & Safety to focus on executing the program plan with first time quality and satisfying all customer requirements (technical, quality, cost, schedule, security, etc.)
- Develop, track and communicate metrics to quantify technical and business performance, and organize all Earned Value Management (EVM) reporting and analysis for the Advanced Composite Fabrication Center Team.
- Perform risk, issue and opportunity (RIO) management
- Establish strong relationships with program customers and stakeholders, to include daily coordination and status briefings
- Establish and execute team operating rhythm and integrate with program operating rhythm to align teammates and efficiently disseminate information/direction
- Develop and perpetuate a team culture of excellence, transparency and collaboration

- 5+ years of experience with developing and executing operating rhythms, integrated program schedules, project plans, and/or metrics
- 5+ years of senior leader or manager experience implementing Boeing Program Management Best Practices or equivalent
- 5+ years of customer-facing, or equivalent, experience do you have
- Experience in a role that required organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, facilitate, and coordinate multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Program Management certification
- Demonstrated leadership ability in formal or informal roles within the Boeing Company or in outside activities
- Background in aerospace composite fabrication
- Active Secret Security Clearance
