Description:
You will be the Subcontract Administrator for the Cross‑Functional Supply‑Chain team. Our team drives program success by coordinating supply‑chain activities, fostering seamless collaboration, and ensuring clear communication across all departments.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Administrator you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of subcontractor agreements that keep our programs on schedule and on budget. You'll work side by side with procurement, engineering, finance, and program managers to guarantee that every subcontract delivers the right product, at the right time, and to the right quality standards.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Drafting, reviewing, and executing subcontract agreements in partnership with legal and procurement.
• Maintaining an accurate, searchable repository of all subcontract documents and amendments.
• Tracking key milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics for each subcontractor.
• Conducting regular compliance checks and coordinating audit readiness activities.
• Resolving issues such as scope changes, schedule slippage, or quality concerns, escalating when necessary.
• Communicating contract status, risks, and opportunities to program leadership through clear reports and dashboards.
• Supporting negotiations on price, terms, and change orders to protect the program's bottom line.
• Liaising with finance to ensure timely invoicing, payment processing, and budget reconciliation.
• Providing guidance and training to internal stakeholders on subcontracting policies and best practices.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
