This position reports directly to the C-130J MATS Flight Simulation Engr Asc Mgr and designs, develops, installs, tests, maintains and documents real-time visual, radar and other 3 dimensional database generation for the VITAL series Image Generators, software design and development and the utilization of VITAL Database Generation System (DBGS) tool sets.
Basic Qualifications:
- Training in a related discipline.
- Must be able to interact with multiple functional areas of a diverse nature.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel required.
- A working knowledge of 3D design software (Blender, Autodesk 3Ds Max, Creator 3D or any industry standard 3D Modeling Software), Image manipulation software (Adobe Photoshop, Gimp), and/or Esri ArcMap is Desired Programming experience with Unix/Linux is highly desirable.
- The candidate must have demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skills, strong oral & written communication abilities, ability to organize work to meet strict deadlines and a high desire to provide customer satisfaction.
- Candidate must be able to obtain a DoD final Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position. Obtaining a clearance requires US citizenship.
Desired Skills:
-Experience with simulators, visual systems, or game development software is a plus.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
