Overview
SOSi is seeking a Capture Director to lead pursuits within the company's Business Development organization. This position enables the company's growth objectives by leading solution development and capture of state and local government acquisitions in support of the company's Civil Solutions Business Unit (BU). The Capture Director develops capture plans in coordination with the BU for selecting high-profile opportunities. This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development and Growth Lead for SOSi's Civil Solutions Business Unit.

SOSi is seeking a Capture Director to lead pursuits within the company's Business Development organization. The Capture Director develops capture plans in coordination with the BU for selecting high-profile opportunities. This position reports to the Vice President of Business Development and Growth Lead for SOSi's Civil Solutions Business Unit.
Essential Job Duties
- Develop and mature a pipeline of opportunities with a focus on U.S. state and local governments and Canadian provinces.
- Develop win strategies, solutions, and call plans, while leading capture for new business pursuits.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships related to active opportunity pursuits.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the company's service offerings and be able to represent their benefits, and functionality to customers.
- Work closely with the company's CTO to identify, develop and deploy capabilities that provide the company differentiation from its competitors on strategic pursuits.
- Leverage existing contract vehicles to expedite the acquisition process and increase probability of contract awards to SOSi.
- Assist in development of and participate in marketing campaigns, corporate trade shows, and industry events.
- Develop network of key partners to optimize win probabilities.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 15 years' of professional business development experience.
- Track record of winning technically complex contracts valued at $50 million or more.
- Demonstrated experience performing in a U.S. national account sales role.
- Must possess the ability to work across organizational boundaries and jurisdictions, leading customer meetings and cross-discipline teams in development of customer solutions.
- Exceptional verbal communication, presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- Foreign language skills are a plus.

- Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.
- Occasional requirement to travel.
