As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
In this role, you will work within the Google Public Sector Services (GPSS) Department of Defense (DoD) Team to lead cross-functional technology, engineering and operations teams to ensure Google Cloud projects are delivered on schedule and on budget. As an integral part of the GPSS DoD team, you will manage multiple complex technical projects and deliverables, requirements/prioritization, compliance, and reporting for projects to ensure success. You will also manage the planning and execution of customer statements of work to facilitate customer adoption of Google Cloud technologies and services, collaborating with customer systems engineering and integration teams to meet timelines and customer-specific integration requirements. This position involves coordination across multiple efforts (often with engaging priorities) to support bringing the latest Google Cloud technology to the U.S. Federal Government.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management influencing across a cross-functional organization.
- 2 years of experience in compliance, information security, IT audit, or risk management in the U.S. Federal Government Assessment and Authorization process.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Google Distributed Cloud, or Google Cloud's AI offerings and technologies - specifically in DoD Impact Level environments.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as needed.
- Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance.
Preferred qualifications:
- Google Professional Cloud Architect (PCA) Certification.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Experience working within the Department of Defense/Department of War or National Security sector.
- Experience with the Authority to Operate Risk Management Framework (RMF), and NIST 800-53 (Rev. 4, Rev. 5).
- Knowledge of industry-standard project management methodologies.
- Ability to adapt approaches based on project needs.

- Lead the end-to-end technical program management of Department of Defense (DoD) projects, from planning and delivery, to tracking and reporting.
- Partner with Google Public Sector, engineering teams, and partners to ensure product delivery.
- Manage multiple, complex interactions across geographically dispersed teams, using strong organizational, investigative, and communication skills.
- Engage with engineering and product leaders to simplify how compliance requirements are integrated into Cloud products and services.
- Drive project delivery and technology reviews, applying technical judgment to challenge proposals and build consensus among teams.
