Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee-owned company. is seeking an R&D Computer Engineer Intern to support various ongoing programs within the Microwave Technologies and System Development Operation.
Radiance is looking for a self-starter with experience drawing from several computer science, mathematics, and software engineering technical skillsets to perform software development tasks in support of research topics including electronic, electromagnetic, and high-power microwave (HPM) systems.
This is an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative setting while engaging in research and development in the area of high-power microwaves.

Required Skills
- Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or closely related discipline
- 3.2 Minimum GPA
- Self-motivated and able to work well within a research and development team
- Proficiency in one of the following programming languages: Java, C, C++, Python
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience or education in using standard software engineering practices such as version control, CI/CD, and familiarity with Agile development processes
- Experience with various terminal environments and the applicable commands within a Unix-like operating system
- Knowledge of the any of the following topic areas: expert systems, knowledge representation, machine learning, database theory, query languages, formal languages and grammars, abstract computing models, and algorithms development
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new domains for research projects that support the customer's goals
- Experience with standard electrical laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, multimeters, and power supplies
