The Global Fielding Services Instructors provide U.S. Army units with the training necessary to operate newly fielded equipment. Instructors are program specific, fully trained in client provided Training Support Packets (TSPs), but able to guide units "over the shoulder" in a training environment. As needed, NET Instructors review future Programs of Instruction (POI) to provide input to the Government and equipment vendors.

Employees may need to complete a successful pre-employment background screening conducted by an FCRA company and a successful clearance crossover. Employment must commence within 45 days of the employee being granted eligibility for access to classified information at a level that allows them to perform the tasks or services associated with the contract or USG requirement for which they were hired.

Description:
The Global Fielding Services Instructors provide U.S. Army units with the training necessary to operate newly fielded equipment. As needed, NET Instructors review future Programs of Instruction (POI) to provide input to the Government and equipment vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Plans NET Training missions in conjunction with the Digital Systems Engineers and the units, optimizing the training path to take advantage of unit level training events to maximize instruction retention and value.
- Coordinates through Digital Systems Engineers (DSEs) as the government on-site leads to set-up, execute and tear down training environments.
- Provides classroom and field instruction on new equipment as a member of a team of instructors.
- Resources training missions, ships and receives equipment, establishes classroom environments and all other functions necessary to employ the Classroom Training Sets (CTS) .
- Provides Exercise and Test support on behalf of PM Mission Command directed missions.
- Provides over the shoulder training with the unit during training events at the request of the unit.
- Understands the program's requirements for instruction at the user and system administration level, and is able to know when deviation from the training material is appropriate against the unit requirements .
- Works with the DSEs and units to troubleshoot minor friction points during the training and the integration into the live environment . While not fully a Tech Support or Field Service Representative (FSR) , has the knowledge and skill to integrate the training into the live environment .
- May work in conjunction with an FSR or Tech Support element based on trouble ticket or other help desk related request.
- Understands the broader picture of the Mission Command platforms, their integration of their program into other products.
- Understands how to integrate the product into the network.
- Provides training reports in support of the GFS contract to PM Mission Command.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Possess knowledge of Fires software and hardware (AFATDS, JADOCS, etc.), preferably as an Instructor
- Possess a minimum of a SECRET clearance.
- Possess a current U.S. Passport
- Be available for travel up to 75% of the time (depending on mission requirements).
- Possess an Instructor qualification to perform classroom or over-the-shoulder training . Qualification can be from any formal U.S. Military training program, or other professional trainer programs (with review).
- Possess knowledge of the Integrated Tactical Network and the role it plays in the GFS Portfolio.
- At least two years experience in system administration and/or client instruction in one of the GFS programs .
- Able to manage logistics as well as physically move equipment up to 60lbs in support of mission requirements.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Possess a thorough knowledge of at least one program in the GFS portfolio (JBC-P, CPCE, AFATDs, etc.).
- Have a broad understanding of the fielding and training requirements for JBC-P/JBC-P LOG, CPCE, AFATDS and other programs in the GFS portfolio.
- Possess knowledge in non-GFS programs (DCGS-A, AMDWS, TAIS, etc.).
- College Degree
- Prior Military service
