What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional presence.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
- Monitor for unusual activity and/or potential security-related threats, reporting observations according to site protocols.
- Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and interactions as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
- Interact with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance as needed.
- Carry and responsibly handle assigned firearms and follow all applicable procedures and regulations related to armed patrol duties at the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Level III Armed Certification Texas only is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
