Description
This position requires a highly skilled technical professional to support the design, development, testing, and deployment of operational networks in collaboration with government personnel and other contractors. The candidate must be able to work seamlessly within government spaces and independently prioritize tasks in a time-effective manner while reporting status updates to both internal program managers and government customers.

Description

Required Skills & Experience
- Linux System Administration and Networking: Proven expertise in Linux system administration and troubleshooting, along with secure and efficient networking configurations
- Cloud Instance Configuration: Ability to securely instantiate and configure cloud instances over SSH using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Oracle
- Command-Line Tools: Proficiency in Linux command-line tools such as Bash for system management and scripting.
- Programming Languages: Experience in programming with C, C++, and Python to support workflow automation, debugging, and development tasks.
- Packet Capture and Analysis: Ability to create custom filters and analyze network traffic using tools like Wireshark, tshark, python-scapy, and libpcap
- Computer Network Operations (CNO) and Exploitation: In-depth understanding of CNO/exploitation principles and operational concepts.
- Managed Attribution Networks: Demonstrated proficiency working with managed attribution networks for secure routing, monitoring, and troubleshooting
- Debugging Distributed Networks: Expertise in debugging distributed networks, including devices communicating across local and remote network tunnels.
- Firewall Rules and System Hardening: Experience in hardening Linux systems and services, as well as writing firewall rulesets using tools like iptables and nftables.
- Routing Validation: Employing Linux tools to validate appropriate packet routing from source to destination

Required Education
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technology-related field, or 5 years of directly related experience
