Job Description
As a Security Officer - Aero Facility Patrol in Mukilteo, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within an aerospace and defense location, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will engage with people on-site, provide outstanding customer service, and support a secure environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies and/or responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues, recognizing that working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns encountered during patrols within the aerospace and defense environment.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or personnel while performing assigned duties.
- Document incidents and observations accurately in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
