Amentum is currently searching for an experienced Capture Manager / Sr. BD Principal for our Oak Ridge TN Nuclear Center of excellence office. Please include a resume and cover letter.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Support the development of proposals for commercial and government contracts with fluency in assessing and replying to requests for information, requests for qualifications, request for proposal from clients and in partnership with team-mates.

• Develop subcontractor statements of work, coordinate with multiple subcontractors to develop proposal packages to solicit bids, review and evaluate received subcontractor bids, and complete teaming agreements and Non-Disclosure Agreements.

• Comfortable meeting with and presenting to customers in conjunction with operational counterparts the company's qualifications and capabilities.

• Support PMO development, coordination, and integration between sales organization and operations (contracts, engineering, processes, procedures, PMs)

• Fully coordinate and collaborate on all tasks, activities, requirements, and issues as they pertains to the support of the customer with sales executives.

• Identify issues and adapt program plans according to the customer's feedback on the program and in support of internal integration

• Complete projects to prescribed levels of cost, performance, safety, quality, schedule, and risk.

• Develop plans, lists of deliverables and schedules associated with various scopes of work, and define and document the implementation of requirements.

• Review and clarify the customer's (or subcontractors) contract requirements and needs as they are dispensed from the customer's requirements management tool and propose cleared, qualified personnel to expeditiously fulfill the requirements.

• Identify potential downstream issues that may negatively affect meeting customers' requirements and provide recommendations to mitigate those negative impacts

• Manage the customers' expectations with proactive, consistent, and transparent communication.

• Ensuring continuity of support during Contractor personnel changes and approving of TO staffing alignments/allocations.

• Interfacing with the CO, COTR, and Government leadership.

• Overseeing the execution of the contract Transition Plan and initiatives to improve performance.

• Overseeing the management and implementation of the PMP.

• Serving as the primary point(s) of contact for formal discussions with the Sponsor, including frequent customer interaction with the intent to sustain and improve customer satisfaction.

• Reviewing business systems administration, resources, procedures, and methods to improve operational effectiveness, utility, and efficiency.

• Overseeing the Contractor's Environmental, Health, and Safety functions, ensuring that all safe work practices are being followed.

• Monitoring cost control, financial reports, budgeting, and overall operating costs.

• Overseeing the coordination of work priorities and monitoring of methods, procedures, and program s.

• Improving cost-effectiveness and efficiency.

• Overseeing the monitoring and inspection of maintenance, repair, and service operations for quality control and contract compliance.

• Ensure that management and contract reports are accurate before submission.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited university in business management of engineering and ten (10) years of experience in management-level position s in OCONUS and high-tempo environments, or;

• A bachelor's degree in another field and a total of ten (10) years of experience in management-level position s in high-tempo environments, and at least six (6) years of experience in the field of engineering or business. Years of experience in engineering and business can be concurrent, or;

• A high school, vocational school, or trades school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in management-level position s in OCONUS and high-tempo environments, and at least six (6) years of experience in the field of engineering or business. Years of experience in engineering and business can be concurrent

• Current and active Project Management Professional Certification or equivalent or ability to obtain one within 180 days of hire

• Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Experience working with the IC or DoD.

• Possess an active TS security clearance at the start of the contract.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

CONUS-based- WMA with travel up to 25 % of the time.

The PM shall be present in the WMA and available during business hours. Outside of business hours, the PM shall respond within two (2) hours of notification. Notification is considered complete when the customer makes the call to the designated POC. The POC shall be available by telephone twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week, including holidays.

Attendance

Attendance is critical at all times to ensure response to customer requirements (100%). Overtime may be required.

Must take and pass a drug test and background check. Must put forward a professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others. Must be well-organized with the ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to interface effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Must be willing to travel as-needed extensively.
