Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Army Vantage Workflow Developer to design, build, and maintain data-driven workflows, low-code applications, and analytic pipelines within the Army Vantage environment (Palantir Foundry). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing Vantage-backed apps, integrating Army authoritative data sources, and supporting mission partners with real-time analytics, dashboards, and process automation.
The Vantage Workflow Developer will work closely with Army staff, experiment planners, analysts, and data owners to turn operational requirements into Vantage workflows that improve decision-making, reporting, assessments, and staff efficiency.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Army Vantage Workflow Developer to design, build, and maintain data-driven workflows, low-code applications, and analytic pipelines within the Army Vantage environment (Palantir Foundry). The ideal candidate has hands-on experience developing Vantage-backed apps, integrating Army authoritative data sources, and supporting mission partners with real-time analytics, dashboards, and process automation.
The Vantage Workflow Developer will work closely with Army staff, experiment planners, analysts, and data owners to turn operational requirements into Vantage workflows that improve decision-making, reporting, assessments, and staff efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Workflow & Application Development
- Build and maintain Vantage-backed applications, including forms, user interfaces, pipelines, and workflow logic.
- Automate data preparation, cleaning, lineage, and validation using Foundry/Vantage toolsets.
- Develop and configure Vantage action flows to support task routing, reporting, and operational processes.
Data Integration & Modeling
- Integrate multiple Army authoritative systems (e.g., DTMS, GCSS-Army, MEDPROS, GFEBS, UDL, ADRP/ADP datasets) into Vantage data products.
- Design structured datasets, ontologies, and schemas to support experiment planning, execution, and assessment.
Dashboarding & Analytics
- Create real-time dashboards in Vantage or via the Power BI-Vantage connector to support command decision-making.
- Build metrics, KPIs, trend analysis views, and operational status visualizations.
Support to Modernization & Experimentation
- Translate experiment objectives into measurable data indicators.
- Support event execution through live data ingestion, dashboards, and automated SITREPs.
- Assist analysts with data queries, insight generation, and assessment tools.
Collaboration & Governance
- Work with government and contractor teams to establish data governance, access controls, and lineage tracking.
- Document workflows, datasets, pipelines, and changes in accordance with Army policy.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Army Vantage or Palantir Foundry (1-3+ years).
Applicants without direct Foundry/Vantage experience will not be considered. - Experience building:
- Vantage-backed apps
- Foundry applications and transforms
- Code Workbook pipelines
- Vantage workflows/actions
- Familiarity with:
- Ontology design
- Data integration patterns
- Low-code/no-code development in Vantage
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (TS/SCI strongly preferred).
- Experience working with at least one major Army system (e.g., DTMS, GCSS-A, GFEBS, UDL, JBC-P feeds, or experimentation data).
- Strong understanding of Army operations, data governance, and reporting processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous support to AFC, FCC, JMC, FORSCOM, TRADOC, or PEO EIS.
- Experience with:
- Power BI (especially using the Vantage connector)
- Python or PySpark inside Foundry
- SQL, ontologies, data modeling
- Workflow optimization & process automation
- Experience supporting experiments, assessments, or operational analytics.
- Knowledge of Joint/Army staff processes, OPORD/FRAGO workflows, and modernization efforts.
Soft Skills
- Ability to translate operational needs into technical requirements.
- Comfortable interacting with military leaders, analysts, and staff officers.
- Strong communication and documentation habits.
- Proactive in identifying data quality or workflow gaps.
